N'est jamais qu'un poème
Même pour dire, je t'aime
Un tableau
N'est jamais qu'un tableau
Même
Si c'est le plus beau
Un film
N'est toujours qu'un film
Même
Si cela nous anime
Un livre
N'est jamais qu'un livre
Même
S'il nous rend ivre
Ah ! si nous vivions !
Oh ! si nous nous aimions !
Nos vies seraient des poésies
Et plus aucune place
Il n'y aurait, pour les bourgeoisies
Qui ont kidnappé, tous les arts
Qui ont détroussé, tous les renards
Et de tout gâcher, n'en ont jamais marre
Ainsi, l'art comme le travail
De la vie sépare, pour qu'elle s'en aille
