Hannah Eilert

I didn't know I could feel it

I thought I couldn't

You showed it to me

I showed it to myself

Fate has shown me

I didn't know I could feel it

I never felt much, so that's how it feels

I cheated myself

Pretended to understand all this

As if I like everything

But I've never seen the charm

Maybe I understand it now

Got my focus wrong, now I know it better

Thank you very much!

I feel free now

I am a new person in the old person

Can breathe suddenly like I never breathed

My lungs fill up, slowly and regularly

It never felt better to breathe.

I can laugh like I've never laughed before and I don't have to pretend I'm laughing

The spectacle I never wanted to play is now smaller

No role that I didn't even know I was playing.

I've stopped playing, I can be now.

Now I'm just missing you!
