You told me
of ancient times,
and I forgot
the flowers
picked for you
on that place
to leave them
to the appearing dawn,
to leave them to the grass
of a beginning summer.

von alten Zeiten,
und ich vergaß
die Blumen,
gepflückt für dich
an diesem Ort,
um sie der
anbrechenden
Morgendämmerung
zu überlassen,
und dem Gras
des erwachenden
Sommers.
