Before
Before you were conceived,
God held you in His Mind,
you were of His Light,
unblemished, His Likeness,
His Kind.
Before you ever breathed,
God held you in His heart,
and you started so very pure,
right from the very start.
Before you were born human,
and stained with Adam's sin,
you were created out of LOVE,
and LOVE can rise again..
and again.
Before you could ever walk,
before you learned to talk,
you were a babe so little,
gurgling with spittle.
Before Life got
complicated, with the
issues of the Heart,
Remember who you were BEFORE...
from the very start.
Jesus came as a baby,
not as a King or God
to remind us…of who we are…
not really so odd.
He was a reminder to us that
No matter how much we sin,
If we repent and turn from it,
and the LIGHT rises up again.
Remember where you came from,
and stop feeling so
sin-sore, remember you are
made of LIGHT, and come
back to what you were…
before.
