GROWING UP

It's funny when you watch your kid's
they grow up all too fast
those special years of childhood
alas it will not last,
they want to do what you once did
be reckless and carefree
allowed to make their own mistakes
that's growing up you see.
I could make their hair curl
with tales I could tell
I assume when they get older
they'll story tell as well,
some stories I will share with them
some stories I will not
the funny one's I will divulge
but some are best forgot
