Summer

“I‘m so happy it‘s summer!“,
said the cat
to the bat.

“Yes, me too,
but aren‘t you afraid of that pool?“,
replied the quivering bat.

“Oh don‘t be such a fool!“,
laughed the cat,
“It‘s so cool!“

“I‘d rather eat a cherry,
it‘s such a delicious berry!“,
said the bat, munching through the cherry.

“That‘s true!“,
said the cat diving for a fish,
that would be her next dish.
