Michael A. Fischer

Me and God

What is the earth but a single stone?
What is life but flesh and bone?
What is God but another word?
What am I but a voice unheared?

There never is a helping hand,
just sometimes a hand that helps.
There is never just one sand,
but often some sand's the same.

Why should devine ayuda me?
Why should thy god be with thee?
Justice does not always justify,
but injustice is why we cry.

Who chooses for whom to die?
Who tell us for whom to try?

Never, ever, all the world.

Small, tall, me.
