What happens to the others of us
The others of us that try
We try but we seemingly don’t achieve
Are we given notice, are we given our due recognition
Like those others of us with a degree
They say they worked for it, but who’s to say we didn’t,
We make an effort at the least
We were forced into something we do not like,
And yet we get the blame,
Like some great multi-horned, multi-headed
Beast
