Larissa Lamadé

Imprisoned (Version 1)

After all the time my bones became rotten,
my legs have forgotten to run, my face has forgotten to smile.
My good-natured, innocent heart became a cold stone.
Each slow heart impact is forced and each breath seems the purest agony.
So much I also wish to see the Daylight again; I think I would go blind.
So much I also wish to feel the warmth of another, I would feel nothing.
So much I also wish to escape this darkness, my legs couldn't carry me.
There’s no fear, no anger and no hate.
There are only the darkness and I.
There are only the darkness and the emptiness.
There are only the darkness and the broken hope.
So preciously it appears to me air to breathe and to stare into the darkness
I don’t dare it also only one muscle to move.
The darkness is my home, my dearest one, my child.
I want to be one with it, merge with it into all eternity.
Because it’s only which I still have, what is only still remaining.
